Gyanpreet Charitable Trust is a grassroots non-profit organization founded with a simple but powerful purpose: to enable underprivileged children and families to lead dignified, self-reliant lives. We believe that everyone—regardless of their background—deserves access to education, healthcare, and opportunities that allow them to build a better future.
Born out of a deep desire to make a meaningful difference, the Trust was formally established after years of personal sponsorships and community support initiatives by the founding members. What began as informal acts of kindness gradually evolved into a structured mission to “help others help themselves.”
🌱 Our Origin Story
Our journey began with a single child—Sneha, supported by one of our founding members at the age of 8. Coming from a family struggling with poverty and illness, she was given the opportunity to continue her schooling and later pursue a vocational course in hotel management. Today, she is gainfully employed and supports her family.
This one success inspired many more. Over the years, the Trust has supported numerous students through school and college, provided vocational training, conducted health camps, and responded to emergencies like the COVID-19 pandemic. The growth of Gyanpreet has been entirely organic—built on trust, transparency, and the power of community.
💡 Our Philosophy
At Gyanpreet, we follow a person-first approach. Every individual is unique and so are their needs. Some may need help with tuition fees, others with medical care or school supplies. Some need guidance more than money. We listen, we understand, and then we act—with empathy and accountability.
Our philosophy is best described by our motto:

We do not believe in charity for the sake of charity—we believe in empowerment, dignity, and long-term change.

- Expand our education sponsorship program to reach more children annually
- Resume and scale up medical outreach programs in remote areas
- Construct the school compound wall at Tunki Tanda for child safety
- Launch a volunteer and mentorship program
- Build long-term partnerships with donors, CSR teams, and community leaders
- Raise funds to support the growing number of applications for aid currently on hold
